Portishead
Portishead is situated just off Junction 19 of the M5. The Lake Grounds are a pleasant place to visit, there is plenty of space to relax, play pitch and putt or perhaps hire a rowing boat or simply feed the ducks. There is also a heated open air swimming pool open during the summer months. Portishead also has a sports centre which has a large indoor swimming pool, indoor bowls and badminton. In addition, Portishead is home to a new Marina which houses many boats.

Clevedon
Clevedon is situated just off Junction 20 and like Portishead has a pebbled shoreline. Clevedon has a restored Victorian pier which is a local landmark. The Pier is often used by fishermen and people wishing to take sailing trips on the Waverly paddle steamer and the Balmoral pleasure cruiser.
There is plenty to see and do in Clevedon, country walks, tennis courts, horse riding, a sports centre with an indoor swimming pool and there are also pubs and restaurants nearby. Clevedon is also home of the Curzon Cinema, which is the oldest continually running cinema in the world. Yatton Railway Station is just 4 miles from Clevedon.

The Historical City of Bristol
Bristol has plenty to offer visitors and the seaside resort of Weston-super-Mare is only a short drive away. There is also a large shopping Mall at Cribbs Causeway with over 135 stores and next to it there is a multi-complex cinema and Hollywood Bowl, all approximately 20 minutes drive away.
